State of the Union Address – Confidential
What Biden Meant to Say: A Translation to Read before the speech.
So, will it be an Address, Excuse-Mess, or Total Undress? I guess that is the question. But we kind of know which. Probably all three, cloaked nicely in pretty, self-glorifying phrases and uplifting fragrant fertilizer. But the sweetest smelling variety, that is.
Here is a translation, by your distinguished professor/author of the new book, Psychology Confidential (which it kind of fits into), of what Biden meant to say, couldn’t or wouldn’t dare say, in his state of the un-union address today. (You are welcome).
“Russia is so pleased we didn’t arm Ukraine sooner, including especially all those things of war we left behind to the enemy in Afghanistan. Darn. Should have thought of that. But we had to get out, right? It was the right thing to do, though the timing and method could have been better. A lot better. Oh well. No harm, no foul.
Ukraine was not supposed to be invaded – despite all those signs over the last decade, and more recently in the last few months, not to mention my stern warning letters and “crippling” economic threats. Who could have known? Certainly not us or me. I needed to be faithful to the last democrat administration’s policies (we did send blankets, after all) and philosophies. So what if I did shut down the oil and gas industry and independence in America that could have stopped all our funding of the war with petrodollars paid by us (and Europe) for all that Russian oil we so desperately needed, and they loved selling to us. And have we forgotten about Climate Change? Come-on Man! Give me a break here. And, by the way, It’s Trump’s fault for this war, climate change, and definitely inflation, don’t you know? I do. Sort of.
We must fight for democracies around the world (despite the invasion going on at our southern border) - particularly for a country my family has made so much money from (thank you Hunter. No, don’t take a bow. Later) – and please give me another break about China. They are no threat, but a friend and partner (thank you, again, Hunter for that 10% cut). Hey! They were supposed to intervene with Russia to get them to stop any of their Ukraine invasion plans. China promised.
The Southern border. I’d rather not talk about that, so I won’t. Get over it. (lots of new democrat voters).
The economy and inflation. It’s a good thing. We are boomeranging back (aren’t we?), and this inflation is just temporary. I know, that’s what I told you. I kind of lied, but no matter. The democrat plan for the economy and inflation, however nonsensical, will eventually fix things. Although we all will have to just get used to things costing more, a lot more. You know, supporting the war in Ukraine, Russian oil we must now have, and COVID, of course. And Trump. All bad. Blame that and him. Not me.
COVID. I sure did a terrible job with this one. Got it completely wrong on mask and vaccine mandates, businesses, government offices and school lockdowns -- and then that nagging natural immunity thing. Who knew there were so many deplorables with backbones! Freedom and bill of rights. Phooey! What do I care? We are still in charge (for now).Get over it.
Women’s Health, and Right to Choose. I’m on board, gals. Trust me. And don’t anyone ask me about abortion. Who says unborn babies have rights. I certainly don’t, and neither does nor will my party be a party to any of that woman hating pro-life nonsense. Don’t tell anyone I said that - we need their votes as well - but not the ones, primarily African-American babies, that will never get to be born, live and someday vote. Will just have to do without their votes. Just too complicated. That whole sacredness of life thing.
So, in conclusion, thank you America for listening to my rambling speech, all my excuses for the terrible state of the nation, and idiotic decisions and policies our democrat party has made and followed. We are a strong nation, so long as my party is in control, and will get through it all. Someday. I hope.”
